PowerDMS Training for Accreditation Managers & Assessors

The Utah Chiefs of Police Association Accreditation Alliance in conjunction with PowerDMS is excited to announce an in-person training opportunity for both accreditation managers and assessors. 

Instructions: Each individual intending to attend the training needs to complete the form as we need an accurate headcount as space is limited. You may share this link with others to register.

The details of the training include:

Who: Accreditation Managers and Assessors

What: Morning session – Accreditation Managers will learn about manual updates, completing annual reports, and how to build an assessment in PowerDMS.
Afternoon session – Assessors will learn how to conduct an assessment in PowerDMS

When: Thursday August 24, 2023 
Morning session: 9:30am -11:30am
Afternoon session: 1:30pm – 3:30pm

Where: 13937 Sprague Lane, Draper Utah
5th Floor, Lowers Training Room

Why: Get the latest updates on new changes to the standards manual as well as the other requirements for your accreditation. Additionally, learn tips and tricks from the experts at PowerDMS on how to make your accreditation process run smoothly.   This will also serve as the yearly training for assessors

During the morning session, Jessica Tyler and Amy Reynolds will cover how to update your assessment to the latest version of the manual, how and when to complete annual reports, and building compliance files in PowerStandards for both an initial assessment and a re-accreditation assessment. This session is specific to Accreditation Managers, but assessors are welcome to attend.

During the afternoon session Jessica and Amy will work with Assessors on conducting PowerStandards. This session is specific to Assessors, but Accreditation Managers may find this information helpful.
