Accreditation Training

The annual accreditation update and training will be held August 11, 2026, at the South Jordan Police Department, 10655 Redwood Road.  This will be onsite and we strongly emphasize  in-person training if possible; however, virtual attendance will be available for those jurisdictions outside of the Wasatch Front. This session will also be recorded. 

Accreditation managers will be updated on Edition 10 which must be incorporated by January 31, 2027, for the annual report.  In addition, instruction by PowerDMS will be addressed for those preparing to re-accredit, those entertaining initial accreditation, and updates for assessors.  Training is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. but may be shorter.

Please ensure a representative from your department is available for this training, especially for those in the accreditation process.  For all accredited agencies, this is a mandatory requirement. Please have a laptop available and the capability to access your agency’s PowerDMS site. If you have any questions, please contact me or Adam Ellison.
